World AIDS Day is held on the 1st December each year. It is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV and to show support and solidarity with the millions of people living with HIV. Wearing a red ribbon is one simple way to do this. Medical and Health Education Office will organize a series of activities on world AIDS day. You can find the AIDS knowledge publicity boards, story boards and red ribbons in Staff and Student Activities Centre (Zone A) tomorrow. Find our counter and you may receive gifts! In the afternoon, there will be a video show in zone A about AIDS from 3:30 to 5:30. We are looking forward to seeing you soon.

HIV can be transmitted by Sexual Contact, Sharing Needles to Inject Drugs, and mother to

Baby during pregnancy, birth, or breastfeeding. HIV is NOT transmitted by Air or Water, Saliva, Sweat, Tears, or Closed-Mouth Kissing, Insects or Pets, Sharing Toilets, Food, or Drinks.Protect yourself from HIV. Get tested at least once or more often if you are at risk. Use condoms the right way every time. Limit your number of sex partners. Don’t inject drugs.
